5 Reasons to own an air purifier

When it comes to purchasing products that benefit our heath, one appliance comes to mind and that is an air purifier. This product can help whether you suffer from allergies, asthma, or just desire a cleaner living environment.

Here are 5 benefits by improving the quality of air the we breathe:

Fewer allergens and irritants
It is true air purifiers help reduce allergens and irritants that can lead to health problems such as asthma. By eliminating these allergens and irritants the air you breath is safer and more enjoyable.

Elimination bad odors
As bacteria grows so does the bad smelling odors where they reside. Air purifiers help eliminate bacteria and the foul smelling odor that they create.

Improved Air Quality
There is an obvious difference between walking into a room with poor air quality and one that is good. Improved air quality makes a room more comfortable and livable.

Germicidal protection
Most air purifiers have the ability to trap these airborne germs that pass from person to person.

Improved breathing for asthma
while there are different ways asthma can be triggered, no one disputes that minimizing the exposer to pollutants will improve your symptoms of asthma.

Studio Update: Guitar Tracking is Finished.

It has been quite an experience and I am closing in on the final stages of the album. I am very pleased with everything that has been accomplished in such a short period of time. All that remains at this point is the vocal tracking. I will be taking a month off of recording to master the vocal aspects of the songs and then I go back into the studio to track two songs a day.

Uri Djemal is starting to mix the elements together and add the effects to make this album sound beautiful. I will be releasing this as soon as I can. There have been delays, but the delays have only made the album stronger. Chances are a few songs will be released by the end of November early December on www.mattcode.com and www.myspace.com/mattcode.

Studio Notes: Guitar Tracking to Begin this Weekend

The rhythm section is now complete. Everything sounds great; I’m very please so far. There are a few tweaks here and there that need to happen, but nothing that should delay this album for a November release.

The Guitars will be tracked this weekend. Uri and I will be using a Classic Gretsch, Fender ’79, and a custom Les Paul for these sessions. Combined with a Vox AC30, Fender Deluxe, and a few other vintage amps; the sounds will be fantastic.

Studio Update: A weekend of tracking

Last night at 2:30 AM, Hari put down the final drum track for my 11 song album. The recording took three days and went extremely well. Phil still has 4 more songs to finish up with the bass, but they should be done within the week. The music sounds fantastic. I’m very excited to set a release date, but many issues may still arise that might delay it. I will keep everyone up to date on the albums progress and will release a track to my mailing list when it becomes available.

UPDATE: Matt Code - An Alarming Rise (Ordering information)

I have received a few requests for the preordering of my new album “An Alarming Rise”. There is no set date for its release. Before preordering can occur the album must be mastered an on the way to being pressed. However, it should be released sometime in November possibly late October. I will send an email out to my mailing list informing you of those dates. You can sign up at http://www.mattcode.com.

Uri Djemal and I are working hard at Mad Pan Studios to make this exciting album available in the next few months. We are still on schedule and the next two weekends will truly help us understand the best release date. The feed back has been very positive and live tracking with Hari Ganglberger and Phil Crain, will only begin to show this albums true potential.

“An Alarming Rise” will be about the realization of our lives in today’s world. Every song in this album will reflect the disturbing trends in our daily lives, as well as that distant hope of optimism that we so desperately want to achieve. Politics, war and religion will be at the heart of what this album is all about. Sign up for the mailing list for special promotions and news updates.

Studio Update

We are closing in on the live tracking sessions for the weekend of September 15th. The preproduction has been very successful so far and I look forward to moving on to the next phase. We have two more songs that need to be finished in pre and a few minor changes for a couple of the songs.

I'm very excited about the progress and the very promising feedback from the few that I have shared the music. These are only preproduction tracks the final versions should be something very special.

At this point the album will definitely be released in fall the date still to be determined. I wanted it to be October 1, because that would be exactly one year to the day I moved to NYC. That will not be possible. I do expect it to be available late October to Mid November. It will take some time for it to be available at the different digital outlets such as iTunes. The hard copy will be available on my website for sale at MattCode.com as soon as it becomes available. Click below and visit the website to sign up for that mailing list.
